Ken Berry, B.Comm
Mr. Berry has over 25 years of experience in finance and venture capital markets. He began his career in the Canadian brokerage industry as an investment advisor before moving on to found various publicly traded companies. His roles have included senior management positions and directorships responsible in areas of finance, business development, strategic planning and corporate restructuring. Mr. Berry is a founder of Kootenay Silver and is the co-founder and Director/Chairman of Northern Vertex Mining Corp. Prior to his career in the capital markets, Mr. Berry enjoyed a professional hockey career and was a participant in the 1980 and 1988 Winter Olympics.
James M. McDonald, PGeo
Mr. McDonald has more than 30 years of combined technical and financial experience in mining sector. He co-founded and successfully developed National Gold (which merged with Alamos Minerals) to form Alamos Gold for which he was a Director and served on numerous committees until June 2012. Mr. McDonald also served as President of Genco Resources which operated the La Guitarra Silver Mine located in Mexico. Mr. McDonald is a founder of Kootenay Silver Inc. and a co-founder and director of Northern Vertex Mining Corp.
Rajwant Kang, CMA
Mr. Kang has over 18 years of financial experience and has held various senior financial positions within public and private companies including, Salares Lithium, Gryphon Gold, Star Shipping and Steppe Gold. He brings a extensive knowledge of finance, accounting and public markets. Mr. Kang holds a CMA designation obtained in Canada and an HND in Business and Finance, obtained in the UK.
David Farrell B.Comm. (Hons. Finance), LL.B.
President of Davisa Consulting, a private consulting firm working with junior to mid-tier global mining companies. Prior to founding Davisa, Managing Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Endeavour Financial where he structured, negotiated & closed over US$25 billion worth of M&A transactions for junior and mid-tier natural resource companies. Before his 12 years at Endeavour Financial, he was a lawyer at Stikeman Elliott, working in Vancouver, Budapest and London. David graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.Comm (Honours, Finance) and an LL.B and is called to the bar in both British Columbia and England. David serves as a director and audit committee member of both Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (TSX: FVI, NYSE: FSU) and Northern Vertex Mining Corp. (TSXV: NEE). David also serves as a board and finance committee member of Yaletown House, a non-profit, critical-care seniors' residence in downtown Vancouver.
Ms. Savella has over 10 years of experience in the brokerage and financial markets. In her capacity as a senior level support liaison, she has worked closely with a wide range of private investment clients, corporate entities and institutional investors. Ms. Savella began her career in the brokerage industry as an executive level assistant working for Canada's largest independent brokerage firm, Canaccord Genuity. During her tenure with Canaccord she reported directly to the Chairman and was responsible for overseeing various investment banking and equity underwritings as well as marketing and financing activities that helped to raise millions in financings for various resource exploration companies. Ms. Savella's clients and colleagues know her best for her astute business acumen and her engaging personality.
